The Academic Challenge Program provides scholarships to Arkansas residents pursuing a higher education. Funded in large part by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, the Academic Challenge Scholarship is available to students regardless of their academic status, whether just graduating from high school, currently enrolled in college, enrolling in college for the first time, or re-enrolling after a period of time out of college.
The deadline to appy is July 1.

Students submit FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to apply for financial aid for college from the federal government, state governments and most colleges and universities.
About 20 million students file the FAFSA each year.
Financial aid includes grants, scholarships, student employment and student loans.
As the name suggests, the FAFSA is a free form.
There is no need to pay anybody for help filing the FAFSA.
The deadline to apply is June 1 (for fall enrollment).
